We laugh, we cry, we hug a lot.
We keep each other strong.
When one of us goes out for fun,
the rest all go along.
We gad about, we lunch and munch,
in one big happy throng.
We've found the place where we fit in,
the place we all belong.
"Pick the flowers in other people's gardens
And learn to spit.…."

Sechelt Red Hat Baronesses at Gilligan's Pub By Baroness Babble-Lot Bonnie We arrived at the Pub about 11:30 am - it wasn't a stampede but a very slow Parade of red and purple. Queen Millie handed out a riddle quiz paper . I
don't know where she gets all those crazy things but the girls got right to it and played the game. Amid the drawing for the 50/50 and other good prizes the patient waitress took our orders.
That is where it got a bit tricky some of the girls ordered the special and a few of us ordered seafood like prawns, shrimp etc. But there was two very adventurous ladies who ordered "SNAKE BITE" . We all waited breathlessly to see what snake bite was? It was not long before we heard a quiet cry , to please Pass the water jug down, and two ladies red faced, their throats on fire and their hands reaching for cold water - that is when we realized they had been SNAKE BIT. Their discomfort didn't last too long and Baroness Em soothed her throat
By reading some giggles to the girls. Queen Millie, still breathing a little fire, stood up and asked all the girls to tell about their New Years Resolutions as her and Baronness Em have resolved NEVER to order SNAKE BITE again. I think the best resolution was Baroness Edna, whose resolution was to cut her toenails before she got a hole in her stockings.
Thank you to Em for remembering to bring some home baked cookies for dessert.
Our next outing is scheduled for Tuesday, February 16/09 at the Mosaic Market in Davis Bay At 11;30AM.
It will be a valentine's theme so wear your hearts on your sleeves.
